Sleep

The question I have for you today...Are you getting enough sleep each night to perform during the day?

Sleep is a very important factor in your performance at work, at the gym, and in your sport if you are an athlete.  Lack of sleep can cause hormone imbalance, fat storage, weight loss, clumsiness, irritability, fatigue, aching muscles, impaired judgement, instability, and a decrease in athletic performance.  It can also increased your risk of high blood pressure,  diabetes, and heart disease.

Exercise not only helps the body to sleep at night, but the body needs the sleep to recover and repair from exercise.  So start today by making sleep a priority over other things in life and watch yourself catch up on things that you have fallen behind on.  How are you doing with getting 7 to 9 hours of sleep every night?

I have been exercising well, I do need to get to bed on time instead of saying up watching pointless TV. Thanks for the post, I am going to make the change.

Who has time to get sleep in, kids, job, house cleaning, yard work, spouse, dinner, homework with kids?

I know I struggle to get more than 6 hours of sleep every night.

When I had a consistent workout routine, getting enough sleep was never an issue. Now that I exercise less because I'm working all of the time I get the same amount of sleep but I feel less rested. I can definitely see the benefits of working out consistently to develop better sleep habits.

I know many people undergoing treatments for getting proper sleep .The stressful and hectic lifestyles end up in exhausting our self and finally our body has to surrender to medications. Only a proper and well tuned mind and body can maintain sufficient sleep at the end of the day. Most of the population are now under the fist of anti-anxiety drugs and cns depressants for relieving stress .Thanks for the continual education and motivation you follow for the uplift of the unaware community.Hope it helps the society to know the importance of sleep for a balanced living.
