Eating on the Move

When people travel they tend to pick not so good choices, like a fast food joint's simple sugar feast.  This creates a nasty roller coaster inside the body and a terrible cycle of eating junk, not to mention the tricks it plays on the mind.

When I travel I make healthy choices if we do stop somewhere fast, a lot of these restaurants offer fruit or the salad option, so I will eat that instead of the fried food with the white bun burger.  I will also stop in a store on occasion, I can find some good things to eat; like fruits, nuts, veggies, meal replacement bars, chicken, fish...

In airports across the world people are choosing poverty food that is so highly processed and ridden with simple sugars it is no wonder so many people today are obese.

So when you go on vacation, what kinds of things do you eat?  What do you need help with?

It is hard for me to eat healthy on vacation, I usually skip lunch and only eat a small breakfast. I know I should eat lunch! Something I have to work on.

We usually eat better on the road because we eat fruits and veggies all day. Whether we go on the boat for the weekend or travel in the car up north, we pack a cooler full of healthy things. We like to eat a variety of nuts too.

Many people consider having junk foods in order to stop having the hunger on their way to some place. Fast foods are all business people know. It’s not their fault! It’s the kind of life they are leading so there is certainly no point in detailing this! However what that needs to be done in spite of the fact they are having a busy lifestyle is that they should go for foods that have a lesser caloric output. That’s all they can do and that’s all they need to do!
